Job Description

Overview

Element has an opportunity for an Associate Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia.

We are seeking a high-calibre, experienced and qualified Environmental Monitoring Engineer to undertake stacks/air/noise/water/soils monitoring projects in the Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidates will have a relevant Science degree or equivalent and a minimum of three years relevant work experience in environmental monitoring using manual sampling and instrumental analyser techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Execution of field environmental monitoring projects
  • Undertake environmental monitoring to documented procedures, published standards and protocols and industry best practice. Good knowledge of international monitoring standards especially US EPA methods is preferred. Act as Project Manager for key clients, ensuring the highest quality is maintained and first rate customer service is delivered
  • Provide technical advice to staff within the department and clients
  • Prepare technical reports for the client, ensuring high attention to detail

Skills / Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of laboratory safety
  • Minimum of three years in environmental monitoring
  • A Bachelors of Science degree in a science or testing related field
  • Familiarity with international monitoring standards, particularly US EPA methods
  • Proficient in manual sampling and instrumental analysis
  • QSTI certification is advantageous
  • Valid driving license is essential
  • Strong technical knowledge with the ability to apply various testing techniques effectively to analyze issues and develop solutions
