WSP Middle East is looking for an Associate Facility Management Consultant-Building Access and Maintenance to join our Property and Building Business Unit in Sharjah, UAE.
The ideal candidate will contribute to enhancing building efficiency, safety, and sustainability through expert facility management strategies.
Your new role, what's involved
Ensuring the delivery of high-quality and innovative facility management solutions for property and building projects.
Oversee all phases of the design stage, from conceptualization through detailed design to construction.
Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, lighting MEP and other stakeholders to seamlessly integrate all design disciplines into overall building access and maintenance design strategy.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, standards, and regulations specific to the Middle East region.
Provide technical guidance and evaluation of Fire and Life safety routes, vertical transportation and façade access and maintenance, MEP and interior access to roofs, water features, and lighting fixtures, internal decorations and external building access.
Engage with clients to understand their project requirements and deliver design solutions that meet their expectations.
Prepare and present design proposals, technical reports, and project documentation.
Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in facility management design.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Bachelors degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
A minimum of 12 years of experience in the facility management industry, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects in the Middle East.
Strong knowledge of integrated project delivery methods and experience in managing big teams with different backgrounds.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in relevant design software and tools. Innovative tools and computational design knowledge
Strong understanding of sustainability principles and their application in building access and maintenance.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong confidence in commercial, bidding, and negotiation skills.
