Position Overview:

The Marketing Associate Director supports the marketing and communications efforts of the organization, overseeing the development and execution of marketing strategies to enhance visibility, engagement, and support. This role involves managing a team, coordinating with other departments, and executing campaigns that align with the organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns to support organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing efforts with the organization's mission and objectives.
  1. Team Management:
  • Supervise and mentor the marketing team, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
  • Delegate tasks and manage workflow to ensure timely and effective execution of marketing initiatives.
  1. Campaign Development:
  • Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
  1. Content Creation:
  • Oversee the development of content for marketing materials, including newsletters, press releases, website updates, and social media posts.
  • Ensure that all content reflects the organization's mission and adheres to branding guidelines.
  1. Brand Management:
  • Maintain and enhance the organization's brand identity and reputation.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing materials and communications.
  1. Donor and Community Engagement:
  • Develop strategies to engage donors, volunteers, and community members through targeted marketing efforts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support fundraising and outreach efforts.
  1. Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure that marketing activities stay within budget.
  1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Track and analyze marketing metrics and campaign performance.
  • Prepare regular reports on marketing activities and outcomes for senior leadership.
  1. Event Support:
  • Assist in the promotion and marketing of events, including fundraisers, community outreach, and organizational milestones.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in marketing
  • Proven track record of successful marketing campaign management and team leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content creation.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Passion for the organization's mission and commitment to its values.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with donor and community engagement strategies.
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools.
  • Knowledge of fundraising principles and practices.
