Role Summary:
The Associate Operations Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing a series of individual dynamic projects. These projects can vary in nature, profile and type. This role requires excellent organizational skills, creativity, and a passion for inspiring others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and understand the brief of the client and dissects into trackable deliverables.
- Build internal timelines for the different projects and communicate to the team
- Coordinate, brief and follow up with other team mates on on-going tasks
- Prepare key team meetings agenda & material required.
- Prepare kick off documents including case studies.
- Conduct and create individual briefs to different team mates as required (creative, technical, Marcomms etc)
- Build commercial and business insights around the pitch
- Help through the ideation process of the project by sharing ideas
- Aim to inspire team-mates to innovate in solutions presented
- Manage the proposal preparation in complete including technical and commercial. Coordinate with different teams on method of submission and logistics behind if required
- Lead on creation of the proposal flow and skeleton
- Find and help establish new leads of strategic business partners
- Support on event deliveries as required.
- Help coordinate the resources required per project and facilitate approvals and requests
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in event operations, management, or planning.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Creativity and innovative thinking to develop engaging concepts that resonate with diverse clientele.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in budget management, resource allocation, and vendor negotiation for a commercial edge.
- Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment and handle high-pressure situations with composure.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate submission deadlines.
