What is the job about
The primary responsibility for the role is to ensure sales within a designated geographical area. The Sales Engineer is responsible for developing new sales opportunities as well as maintaining recurring business with existing customers. The sales engineer is well aware of development in the market and at the customers and the knowledge is shared within the team and across PUs (Performance Unit) to strengthen the Grundfos Business result and market share. The incumbent will be part of a team of role with an ambition of increasing sales and developing in the role.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Effectively develop and grow sales within own area of responsibility.
- Develop market knowledge to efficiently drive commercial activities.
- Develop knowledge in the market on Grundfos solutions explaining the benefit for the different customer groups within the customers organization.
- Identify different stakeholders and utilize the right approach to ensure sales.Ensure quality opportunity pipeline and good hit rate.
- Introduce new product and solutions to the customers.
- Monitor and report on pipeline, order intake, sales, profitability, and drive debt collections within own area.
- Ensure knowledge sharing with the team and take responsibility for own competence development.
- Participate and facilitate trainings for customers and potential new customers to build awareness of Grundfos offerings.
- Review substantial quotations and project bids.
- Ensure customer data is up to date.
- Keep customer satisfaction at the right level to create customer loyalty.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure we are perceived as highly customer Centric and collaborative ensuring one Company Culture.
- Other tasks or project as and when required
Your background:
We imagine that you have:
- Min. a bachelor's in business or engineering combined with minimum 3 years of relevant experience from a large international company working in a similar role.
- Fluent in English and beneficial speaking Arabic.
