We are seeking a dynamic and art-loving Sales Associate to join our team at the frame and art shop Riad Soliman by Helmy. The ideal candidate will possess an appreciation for art and design, with a talent for sales and customer service. This role involves advising customers on both custom framing options and art purchases, ensuring an exceptional customer and shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and engage with customers.
- Provide excellent customer service by understanding their art preferences and framing needs, offer tailored recommendations.
- Assist customers in selecting framing options, visuals solutions and options for their artwork and memorabilia.
- Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately. Provide quotes and information on pricing, materials, and timeframes.
- Maintain a visually appealing and organized display of art and frames, ensuring the shop environment is welcoming and inspirational.
- Collaborate with the framing team to ensure that all orders meet our quality standards and are completed within the promised timeframes.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and a customer-first attitude.
- Drive sales by promoting the shop's unique framing options to potential buyers.
- Guide customers through our art collection, providing background information on artists and pieces, and assist in the selection of artwork for their spaces.
- Keep up to date with trends in art, framing techniques, and materials.
- Handle artwork, photographs, and other memorabilia with care, ensuring the preservation and protection of the items.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English.
- Bachelor's degree in any field, additional certification in art, design, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and artists.
- Strong passion and knowledge of art.
- Detail-oriented with a flair for creativity and design.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently.
- Ability to work 6-Shift- based working days with Sundays off.
