The Saudi Tadawul Group was established in March 2021, following the transformation of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) into a Holding Group structure. It is the parent company with a portfolio of four subsidiaries, which operate independently while benefitting from the integration and synergies between one another.
The subsidiaries include: The Saudi Exchange, a dedicated stock exchange business, the Securities Clearing Center Company (Muqassa), the Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa) and Wamid a new innovative applied technology services business, focused on providing innovation and nascent technologies to the capital markets industry through pragmatic innovation.
The Group aims to advance the Saudi capital market's infrastructure in line with global best practices, while reinforcing Saudi Arabia's position as an emerging market leader, a technologically advanced and attractive global investment destination and the gateway to the MENA region.

Job Discerption
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the preparation of a risk-based annual audit plans and schedules for defined auditable areas.
- Ensure the establishment of objectives and scope of work in alignment with organizational goals, to ensure that coverage and frequency of audit are commensurate with risk profile with STG and subsidiaries.
- Ensure the preparation of a rotating schedule of internal audits based on risk assessment models and review work plans for each internal audit to determine that the objective will be met in an efficient manner.
- Ensure the delivery of multiple (end-to-end) audit tasks and assignments assigned via internal audit plan simultaneously through the assigned team in the line approved internal audit methodology, and within the agreed timeline and quality standards.
- Assist in non-audit assignments/ tasks, as requested and provide deliverables within the agreed timeline and with highest level of quality standards.
- Proactively assist in enhancing Internal Audit's governance, infrastructure and processes, as appropriate.
- Review internal audit observations with the relevant department managers to resolve problems, discuss recommendations for improvement, and follow up the status of the implementation.
- Follow up periodically on the status of their implementation to build a more robust control environment.
- Ensure conducting the internal audit risk assessment exercise of Tadawul Group and Subsidiaries various functions for the purpose of developing a risk-based internal audit plan to determine the quantum and nature of audits that should be delivered in a year.
- Ensure and lead the development of staff in the teams to ensure that audit service standards and capabilities are continually improved.
- Complies with communication and information sharing/handling policy to ensure confidentiality of information and complies with all relevant risk and information security procedures to ensure operating within the acceptable risk levels.
- Participate in the Division's annual budget planning.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and control the unit's projects to ensure project cycle completion and commitment to the company's guidelines and quality.
- Guide, and assist employees by direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures.
- Oversee and manage all the unit's staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
- Set performance objectives, provide the necessary support, evaluate team(s), and offer regular feedback on performance.
- Comply with communication and information sharing/handling policy to ensure confidentiality of the information and comply with all relevant risk and information security procedures to ensure operating within the acceptable risk levels.
- Manage the development and implementation of the unit's policies, procedures, and processes covering all areas of the unit's activities to ensure the fulfillment of all work requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and processes throughout the unit in order to achieve the company's operational excellence.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education and Certifications
Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology or MIS with acceptable proficiently English language skills. Internal Audit Certifications such as CIA / CISA are preferred, but not necessary.
Knowledge and Experience
6 + years of experience in audit out of which last 2 years at least as team leader in internal audit. Previous experience with the Capital Market is preferred. Previous Local and International Accounting Standards, Laws and Regulations is preferred. Extensive knowledge in a financial sector, relevant IT and business needs (is preferred)
