Job Description:
1. Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas.
2. Reviewing the accounting of financial transactions and closing entries at month end, including bank reconciliations, fixed asset, prepaid, accruals & payroll schedules. in compliance with IFRS right from recording to reporting.
3. Supporting the signing auditors with relevant information required to complete the audit.
4. Identify, discuss and report internal control gaps, financial inefficiencies in clients business and advising for improved operational & process efficiency
5. Conduct and report internal audits- covering financial and operational areas of the client
6. Develop and improvise organizational Policies and Procedures (SOPs) as per various quality management standards and legal /statutory requirements
7. Conducting review and advising with regards to compliance standards such as International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), statutory standards such as VAT, Tax, AML, ESR etc.
8. Quarterly/Monthly VAT/ Tax review for the clients and returns of clients
9. Supervising an mentoring team of accountants and consultants for successful delivery of the respective reports
Desired Candidate Profile:
Previous consulting experience in an Audit / Accounting firm is mandatory.
Managerial skills to manage, build and grow team in Dubai office and India office.
Business development abilities and acumen of interacting with prospective leads and ongoing clients, understand their requirement, share proposals and convert the same.
ACCA / CA / Inter CA qualified.
4 to 5 years of experience in accounting including financial reporting
Knowledge of Accounting systems such as Xero, Quick Books, Zoho etc. & ability to work independently.
Experience in IFRS reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Solid analytical, problem solving and communication interpersonal skills.
