Description
We are seeking an experienced Audit Technical Director to join our team in the Gulf region. The ideal candidate should have 10-15 years of experience in the job market context of Gulf and should possess a strong understanding of auditing principles and practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement audit policies, procedures, and standards in compliance with local and international regulations
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of audits and audit reports
- Provide technical guidance and support to audit teams on complex audit issues
- Manage and review audit workpapers and reports to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain a strong understanding of the organization's operations and risk profile
- Identify areas for improvement in audit processes and provide recommendations for enhancements
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of audit activities
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in auditing
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or equivalent certification
- 10-15 years of experience in auditing, with at least 5 years in a senior management role
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing principles and practices, including risk assessment, control evaluation, and testing procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide audit teams to achieve high performance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
