Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter - Civil to support our civil engineering team with project designs, drafting, and documentation. The ideal candidate will use AutoCAD and other software tools to produce detailed drawings for civil projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and Design: Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings and designs based on specifications from engineers and project requirements.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with civil engineers and project managers to understand and interpret project requirements.
- Site Plans: Develop site plans, topographic profiles, cross-sections, and other related drawings for civil projects.
- Quality Assurance: Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards; ensure all drawings are easily understood by site teams and stakeholders.
- Document Management: Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions. Update project files and version control of drawings.
- Software Use: Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software (such as Civil 3D) to develop plans, profiles, and sections.
- Standards Compliance: Ensure all drawings meet industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an AutoCAD Drafter in the civil engineering field.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Familiarity with other software like Revit and MS Office Suite.
- Understanding of civil engineering concepts, topography, and land surveying.
