Position: Draughtsman (Pools and Landscape Design)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Draughtsman with a strong background in pool and landscape design to join our team. This role requires technical proficiency in drafting, a creative eye for landscape elements, and experience in pool design. The ideal candidate will collaborate with project managers, architects, and landscape designers to create accurate and visually appealing plans that align with client requirements and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting and Design:

• Create detailed technical drawings for pools, hardscape, and landscape layouts.
• Develop accurate CAD designs based on initial concepts, client feedback, and project requirements.
• Prepare architectural drawings, structural details, and mechanical plans specific to pool installations.

Project Coordination:

• Work closely with project managers and landscape designers to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
• Incorporate safety, functionality, and aesthetic considerations into all designs.
• Adjust and modify plans based on project needs, permitting requirements, and client requests.

Site Analysis and Conceptualization:

• Conduct preliminary site assessments and measurements to inform design elements.
• Assist in creating conceptual designs and renderings for client presentations.
• Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and topographical data.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of all drawings and project updates.
• Ensure designs meet local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Assist in preparing permit applications and submissions as required.

Qualifications:

Education: Diploma or degree in Drafting, Architecture, Landscape Design, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in drafting, specifically in pools and landscape design.

Technical Skills: Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar). Familiarity with 3D rendering software is a plus.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of pool construction standards, hardscaping materials, and plant selection for landscaping.

Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate complex concepts to clients.
