Job duties and responsibilities- Liaising with architects and engineers to gather product and structural requirements and designs required by the company.
Capable of following specifications and calculations to create various technical and specialized drawings.- Preparing both rough sketches and detailed with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Preparing, reviewing, and redrafting rough sketches alongside the engineering team while ensuring that the final designs are compliant with the building regulations.
- Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.
Capable of identifying potential operational issues and redesigning products to improve functionality.- Ensuring that final designs comply with regulations and quality standards of the company.
- Job qualifications/requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience working in a similar position with competence in Infrastructure Projects including storm water, sewerage, and road works.- Preferably candidates with hands-on experience using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
