We are searching for a highly skilled and creative Automotive Designer and Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing custom automotive components, including front and rear off-road bumpers, brackets, side steps, and other modifications for vehicles. You will also play a crucial role in overseeing the implementation of these designs, including collaborating with fabricators, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining project timelines.
- Design Custom Automotive Components: Create innovative and functional designs for custom automotive components using AutoCAD 2D or 3D design software.
- Cost Estimation: Calculate project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment, to develop accurate project budgets.
- Design Documentation: Prepare detailed design sheets, technical drawings, and specifications to guide fabricators in the construction of custom automotive parts.
- Project Coordination: Oversee the fabrication process, working closely with fabricators to ensure designs are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Quality Control: Maintain strict quality control standards throughout the fabrication process to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.
- Problem Solving: Address any design or fabrication challenges that arise during the project and develop effective solutions.
- Supervision and Leadership: Lead a team of fabricators, providing guidance and supervision to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Research and Innovation: Stay updated on automotive industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative ideas into your designs.
Proven experience as an Automotive Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work.- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D or 3D design software.
Strong project management and coordination skills.
