Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for an AVEVA Engineering and Diagrams Administrator for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services.
This position requires flexibility to work on US times and flexibility to travel abroad when needed.
Responsibilities:
Understanding of the Engineering world:
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the engineering processes within the Oil & Gas or Energy sector (applications, tools, data workflow, documents, diagrams, meta-data, models etc.)
Principle understanding of design & engineering methodologies for the Piping, Tubing, HVAC, Electrical, I&C and Civil engineering discipline.
ustomization in administration areas of the AVEVA Suite:
Collection of project specifications for customization and improvement of database infrastructure;
Administer projects, including change management and controlling users access to databases and AVEVA modules, check data integrity and reconfigure databases when necessary
Compare & Update configuration to merge all changes.
Support to on-site users within the CAD platform (designers, engineers)
Answer to user's request through the CAD Ticket System
Manage minor administration tasks such as user declaration, access rights management, and zone creation
Coordinate JIRA tickets resolution following project priorities and manage assignments within supplier team (Administration, Engineering and Diagrams modules).
Data Collection, Coordination and Loading
Setting up reports and Datasheets for extracting engineering data;
Create macros and utilities in the PML programming language to fine-tune data export and customize tools;
Perform analytics of extracted engineering data based on the current data model.
Creation/Modification of How To and CAD Manual
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;
Experience in AVEVA Admin roles (Engineering and Diagrams modules) within the Oil & Gas or Energy industry;
Strong skills in administrative configuration in AVEVA software (Database, team, DAC, Compare Update, UDA, UDET, autonaming rules, specification and piping component in AVEVA Catalog);
Technical expertise in PML programming language, SQL queries, and other relevant technologies;
Knowledge in the creation of interactive reports and dashboards (Excel, Power Point).
Very good command of English.
Additional skills:
Experience in Aveva Administration, Lexicon, E3D, AIS;
Development background;
Data Modeling and data centralization experience;
User Support of the other CAD Plant tools.
