Position: B2B Finance Lead
Location: Dubai
Reports to: CFO
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced B2B Finance Lead to drive the financial success and strategic growth of our B2B marketplace. With full P&L ownership, this role will focus on expanding new channels and partnerships, managing profitability and margins, and overseeing inventory control and planning. Reporting directly to the CFO, the B2B Finance Lead will work cross-functionally to unlock new market opportunities, ensure cost-efficient operations, and maximize profitability across all B2B business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
P&L Management & Financial Strategy
- Lead and own the B2B P&L, focusing on revenue growth, margin enhancement, and cost management to achieve profitability goals.
- Develop and execute financial strategies that align with corporate objectives, driving sustainable growth and profitability.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify revenue optimization opportunities and cost control measures.
Marketplace Growth & Channel Expansion
- Develop strategies for marketplace expansion, identifying new channels and high-impact partnerships.
- Support partner onboarding, contract negotiation, and channel development initiatives to enhance market reach and diversify revenue streams.
- Regularly assess channel and partner performance to ensure alignment with financial and growth objectives.
Inventory Control, Buying & Planning
- Oversee buying and inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels, efficient turnover, and cost-effective operations.
- Develop and implement planning and forecasting processes, balancing inventory costs with revenue targets and market demand.
- Work closely with supply chain and operations to streamline processes, control margins, and reduce waste.
Cross-Functional Business Partnering
- Partner with sales, marketing, and product teams to align financial and business strategies with customer needs and market trends.
- Provide actionable insights and financial reporting to senior leadership, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Drive operational efficiency and process improvements within the B2B finance function to support growth and scalability.
Qualifications:
- CA or MBA preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in finance, P&L management, or B2B marketplace roles.
- Demonstrated success in profitability management, margin control, and channel or partner expansion.
