About This Opportunity
BO VAS engineer is part of MS team who will handle and operate VAS (Value Added Services) network through performing all 2nd level operations activities.
What You Will Do
- Familiar with USSD Menus Development with shown experience
- Excellent knowledge of VAS platforms planning, configuration like SMSC/USSD, MMSC, Missed Call Alert, Voice Mail & SDP, Automatic device configuration, Antispam.
- Familiar with signaling protocols: SS7, SIP, ISUP, Diameter, SOAP , HTTP.
- Familiar with Operating systems administration and DB basic administration (Linux & MySQL).
- Responsible for project support integration & new nodes acceptance.
- Providing technical solutions regarding hardware and configuration problems in the agreed time frame.
- Ensuring fast response, accurate actions, and decisions during the crisis.
- Handling CSRs with customer support team E2E.
- Ensuring reliable accurate solutions provided by support.
- Responsible for verifying new solutions from the post-planning team.
- Reviewing new projects documentation (HLD, LLD ATP,).
- Verifying test cases and ensuring the applicability according to the network's current setup scenarios.
- Migrating new services and nodes to live networks while avoiding incidents or major issues.
- Leading major cases fixing with other domains (ex. IMS).
- Periodic auditing on license-controlled nodes to raise flags in case of traffic profile changes.
You will bring
- Graduated from Communication Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in the VAS field.
- Excellent knowledge of 2G/3G/LTE/IMS/EPC network architecture.
- Good command of English (writing & speaking).
- Experience in using Microsoft tools (Excel, Word & Outlook).
- Be able to work morning and noon shifts in addition to night activities.
- Work under pressure/Motivated/Teammate/Good communication skills/Accountable/Understand customer needs /Change agent/Winning spirit.
- Military service is postponed or exempted.
- Any programming language is a plus, preferably Python.
