Job Summary
As an Off-Page SEO Specialist at Soum, you will be responsible for improving the organic search performance of our website by implementing and managing off-page SEO strategies. Your role involves link-building, improving domain authority, managing external content partnerships, and overseeing social signals to boost rankings and drive organic traffic.
Key Responsibilities:
Link-Building Strategy: Develop, implement, and manage link-building campaigns to acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative sources.
Outreach & Collaboration: Identify and engage with potential backlink partners (e.g., bloggers, influencers, media outlets) to secure backlinks, mentions, and collaborations.
Content Marketing: Collaborate with the content team to create compelling content that can attract external links, mentions, and shares.
Competitor Analysis: Monitor and analyze competitors off-page strategies and backlink profiles to stay ahead in the SEO landscape.
Brand Mentions & Citations: Track brand mentions across the web and convert unlinked mentions into backlinks. Optimize local SEO efforts by securing citations on authoritative local directories.
Social Media & PR Integration: Leverage social media platforms and public relations efforts to amplify content reach and enhance brand visibility.
Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular reports on key off-page metrics (backlink profile, domain authority, referral traffic, etc.) and adjust strategies based on data insight.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Off-Page SEO Specialist or similar role.
Strong understanding of SEO, link-building, and search engine algorithms.
Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc.).
Familiarity with outreach tools like BuzzStream, Pitchbox, or similar.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills for outreach campaigns.
Knowledge of content marketing, social media integration, and digital PR.
Ability to analyze and report on performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
Knowledge of local SEO, international SEO, or niche-specific strategies.
Fluent in English & Arabic
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience 2-5 years of SEO.
SEO certifications (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs Academy, etc.) are a plus.
Experience with project management tools (Jira, Trello, etc.).
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is an added advantage.
