Baker & Sandwich Maker (Cold Kitchen)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Baker and Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods, as well as assembling high-quality sandwiches and wraps. This position requires attention to detail, creativity in food preparation, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cookies, and other baked goods according to recipes.
- Ensure all baked items meet the company's quality and presentation standards.
Monitor and maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies.- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters safely and efficiently.
Adjust oven temperatures and baking times as necessary to achieve desired results.
- Maintain a clean and organized baking area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- 2. Sandwich Making Responsibilities:
Assemble sandwiches, wraps, and other deli items according to customer orders and company recipes.
- Slice meats, cheeses, and vegetables to prepare sandwich ingredients.
Ensure all sandwich ingredients are fresh and properly stored.- Customize orders based on customer preferences and dietary restrictions.
Maintain an organized and clean sandwich prep area, following all food safety protocols.
- Restock sandwich station with necessary ingredients and supplies throughout the shift.
Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, ensuring a positive experience.
- Take customer orders accurately and answer any questions about menu items.
Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, escalating to management if necessary.
Work closely with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth operation.- Assist in training new staff members on baking and sandwich making procedures.
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely service.
Previous experience in baking and/or sandwich making preferred.
- Knowledge of baking techniques and familiarity with various baking equipment.
Ability to follow recipes and adapt to new recipes as required.- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
