The Role
The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar and beverage operations of the Lombard restaurant. This includes managing the bar team, developing and executing beverage menus, and ensuring the highest level of service and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the bar, including managing the bar team, inventory management, ordering and receiving of beverages, and overall cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Develop and execute creative and profitable beverage programs, including specialty cocktails, wine lists, and beer selections.
- Ensure the highest level of service is provided to all guests, and that beverage orders are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor and control beverage costs and work closely with the restaurant manager to achieve financial targets.
- Manage and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiate pricing and contracts, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Train and develop bar staff to ensure a high level of knowledge and skill in beverage service, including proper techniques for pouring, mixing, and serving.
- Maintain proper inventory levels and ensure accurate tracking of all beverage-related costs.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure proper pairing of food and beverage offerings.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a bar in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
