We are looking for talented and passionate Barista - Back to Rootsto join our team Immediately and be a part of our upcoming F&B concept. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a positive welcoming atmosphere, engaging with customers, and preparing delicious drinks using your expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Ask for orders and prepare the customer's desired drinks in different varieties to the customer.
- Set up and clean the coffee/juice preparation area, the subsequent handover, closing duties is adhere for the readiness of the store operations every shift.
- Present at the pre-service briefing and be in constant communication with the customer to prepare the ordered food in a standard and timely manner.
- Set up or restock other coffee merchandise display and monitor the stock level and report to the Manager to always ensure the availability of the items.
- Reports faulty equipment, machinery, service-ware and any related issues/incidents to the Manager to ensure smooth running of daily store operations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain product knowledge and stay updated on menu items, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum diploma or Certificate of Barista or equivalent Equivalent.
- 2-3 years experience as Barista preferably in casual dining categories
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and passion for coffee, including different brewing methods and coffee bean characteristics.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and Barista skills ability to adapt to a multi-cultural environment
- Conceptual thinking, Analytical Ability, Presentation Skills, Priority Setting, Self-Management
- Excellent communication skills to understand customers.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
