Key Responsibilities:
- As an Economist at the MEP SEAL Unit, you will:
- Support idea generation, identifying new areas and ideas for socio-economic experiments and research initiatives.
- Support the design of experiments and broader research initiatives aimed at understanding human behavior and decision-making in public policy.
- Implement experiments and ensure they are conducted ethically and rigorously, including recruitment of participants and data collection.
- Analyze data from experiments using statistical methods and behavioral science frameworks, providing actionable insights to improve policymaking.
- Generate insights and recommendations based on analysis of experimental data.
- Contribute to research innovation, staying up to date with the latest methodologies in applied economics and behavioral science.
- Document and report research findings to inform policy decisions and contribute to academic literature.
- Strong understanding of economic theory and its application in policymaking.
Requirements:
- Academic Background: Bachelor's/Master's degree or PhD in Economics or Public Policy:
- Bachelor's degree: 6 year's of experience.
- Master's degree: 4 year's of experience.
