BIM Architect (Structural discipline/ Revit specialist)

Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced BIM Architect specializing in the structural discipline with a strong proficiency in Revit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in BIM coordination and modeling, focusing on structural projects. This role involves developing and managing BIM models, ensuring design integrity, and collaborating with various project stakeholders.

• Key Responsibilities:

Develop, manage, and maintain detailed BIM models for structural projects using Revit.

• Coordinate BIM execution plans, standards, and workflows specific to structural engineering.

Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure integrated and cohesive models.

• Conduct clash detection and resolve design conflicts in coordination with project teams.

Implement and enforce BIM standards and best practices within the organization.

• Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM processes and Revit.

Assist in the preparation of construction documents and structural shop drawings.

• Participate in project meetings, providing insights and updates on BIM coordination and structural design.

• Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in BIM coordination and modeling, with a focus on structural projects.

Proficient in Revit and other BIM software such as Navisworks and AutoCAD.

• Strong understanding of structural systems, design principles, and construction methods.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of BIM standards and industry best practices.

• Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional).

• Experience with advanced Revit tools and plugins such as Dynamo.

Knowledge of additional BIM software such as Tekla or Bentley Systems.

• Experience in structural design and analysis.
