Job description- Create BIM Model (MEP & HVAC model) up to LOD 450 and do clash detection for coordination.
Prepare MEP Building Services Layouts.- Coordinates with the Engineer in preparation of design drawings and details for construction.
Check drawings for discrepancies and errors and do corrections necessary for the project.
- Provides spot detail / Shop drawings for the clarity of the plans and details.
Responsible for MEP drawing coordination with Architectural- Create Architectural and structural 3D Model based on 2D drawings and do clash detection for coordination.
Coordinates with the Architect ( architectural model input ) in preparation of design drawings and details for construction.
- Create render views and walkthrough videos out of the created models
Able to use engineering sizing tools for pipes , ducts , cables , etc- Making Site visit for the measurement of the Area, for as-built purposes.
Extract BOQs & schedules for all MEP components such as Pipes , cable trays , cables , ducts , valves , duct accessories
Qualifications
- Diploma in on of engineering field ( mechanical preferred )
Additional information
- Ability to work using modeling softwares such as ( Revit , AutoCAD , Plant 3D )
Ability to use clash detection softwares such as Navisworks- Have strong engineering background in both mechanical and electrical field
Have fair knowledge on the MEP & HVAC system components and uses
- Ability to use Microsoft office applications
