Your new role, what's involved
- Use BIM software, including Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and 3D Repo, to create, review, and manage construction models.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure model accuracy, alignment, and adherence to project standards.
- Manage Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows and ensure seamless data exchanges within BIM processes.
- Set up and Conduct clash detection and resolve issues using model-checking tools, ensuring a streamlined and error-free model.
- Proactively identify and resolve project-related issues, addressing BIM-specific challenges efficiently.
- Perform QA/QC checks on models to verify compliance with project standards, specifications, and requirements.
- Adhere to international BIM standards, including ISO 19650, and ensure all deliverables align with protocols in the construction industry.
- Communicate complex BIM information effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear and actionable insights.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation to support project workflows, timelines, and BIM coordination.
- Stay updated on new BIM tools, technologies, and workflows, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving project needs.
- Build collaborative, positive working relationships with team members and contribute to a constructive project environment.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Relevant degree in an Engineering field.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards and protocols, particularly ISO 19650.
- Proven experience in BIM project management, including familiarity with workflows and timelines.
- Ability to perform model clash detection, quality checks, and resolve conflicts within models.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical team members.
- Experience in QA/QC processes and accuracy in model creation and review.
- Knowledge of managing data exchanges within CDE workflows.
- Capacity to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with team members.
- Adaptability to learn new BIM tools and workflows as required.
