DGJV is looking for an talented Civil 3D Specialist BIM Coordinator to join our team! In this role you will get the key responsibility to support our Project Delivery Design Teams to execute the day to day development, establishment and implementation of BIM in our Site Office in Abu Dhabi.
Contract time 14 months.
Job Description;
- Develop detailed BIM models using software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and translate them into BIM deliverables
- Create and manage BIM content, templates, and libraries to support project needs.
- Conduct clash detection and resolution to identify and resolve conflicts within BIM models.
- Generate construction drawings, schedules, and other documentation from BIM models.
- Assist in the coordination and integration of architectural, structural, and MEP systems within BIM models.
- Ensure BIM models comply with project standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to incorporate their models and data into project BIM models.
- Provide technical support and training to project team members on BIM software and workflows.
- Stay updated on emerging BIM technologies, tools, and trends to enhance project efficiency and quality
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 8 years of demonstrable experience of BIM design production experience in a multi-disciplinary environment, preferably wet and dry utilities projects.
- Experience in consultant and infrastructure projects preferred.
- In-depth working knowledge of current Autodesk products such as but not limited to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit
- .Proficient in a range of BIM authoring, scripting, design review, coordination, simulations, and collaboration applications and/or platforms e.g. Civil 3D, Open Buildings Designer, Dynamo, Revit, Grasshopper, Navisworks.
- Experience with BIM instruction and trainings
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken, with good capability in oral and written communication skills.
- Computer skills and the ability to utilize design software are mandatory.
- Middle East/Gulf Countries experience preferred but not essential
