Job Description
Parsons is seeking a skilled and motivated
BIM Specialist to join our dynamic
Design Team based in our
Abu Dhabi Office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with
Infraworks, as well as a strong background in BIM within the infrastructure sector.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop, manage, and coordinate 3D models for infrastructure projects using Autodesk InfraWorks.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to integrate InfraWorks models into the broader BIM ecosystem, ensuring seamless transitions between project phases.
- Perform analysis and simulations (e.g., traffic, environmental, hydrology) within InfraWorks to support design decision-making.
- Generate visualizations and presentations that communicate design intent and project progress to stakeholders.
- Maintain standards and best practices for BIM processes, ensuring models adhere to company and project specifications.
- Provide training and support to team members on InfraWorks workflows and functionalities.
- Work closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure BIM deliverables align with project timelines and budgets.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Autodesk InfraWorks, specifically in infrastructure project contexts.
- Proficiency in other BIM software, such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, and Navisworks, is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows, with experience applying these in infrastructure projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring
- Certifications in BIM, InfraWorks, or related Autodesk products.
- Experience in Middle Eastern infrastructure projects (Preferred).
