Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the design, integration, operation, and maintenance of the BMS that oversees critical infrastructureincluding power, HVAC, fire safety, security, and other essential systemsin data centers.
- You will lead the development and configuration of the BMS to monitor and control electrical and mechanical systems, integrating various facility subsystems, and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure proper installation and functionality
- You will proactively identify improvements to enhance system efficiency and reliability, troubleshoots and resolves issues to minimize downtime, and develops preventative maintenance programs.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree (B.Eng./B.Sc./B.Tech.) in a mechanical discipline.
- 10+ years post-graduation work experience inclusive of time spent working in data centers.
- Expertise in BMS platforms, such as Siemens Desigo, Honeywell, Schneider Electric EcoStruxure etc.
- Experience with data center equipment/environments, including switch gears, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems, fire safety systems, and an understanding of startup/commissioning processes preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for BMS and integrated systems.
- Knowledge of electrical systems (UPS, generators), HVAC, fire suppression, and security integration with BMS.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools to interpret BMS data for reporting and optimization.
