Bms technician

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced BMS Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, programming, and maintenance of our cutting-edge BMS solutions. Your primary duties will include:

- Performing regular inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on BMS equipment and systems

- Configuring BMS software, controllers, and field devices to meet client requirements

- Developing and implementing BMS programming, including custom control sequences and energy optimization strategies

- Providing technical support and training to building operators and facility management staff

- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery

- Maintaining detailed documentation and records of all BMS-related activities

Qualifications:

- 5-7 years of hands-on experience as a BMS Technician or similar role

- Demonstrated expertise in the installation, configuration, and programming of various BMS platforms, including Tridium, Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls, and Siemens

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, and control system drawings

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex BMS issues

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members

- Familiarity with building automation protocols, such as BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, HVAC, or a related field, or equivalent technical training and certifications
