Join the region's leading communications agency in the fastest-growing sport and entertainment market in the world. A game-changing opportunity to be a leader in Sport and Entertainment partnerships at Burson in the Middle East.

Our international sports and entertainment work see us manage an unrivalled portfolio of high-profile federations, destinations, leagues, and events with global ambitions. These include the region's leading stakeholders across football, golf, esports & gaming, tennis, equestrian, music and lifestyle and many more.

We are looking for an experienced senior partnership professional to join our growing team as part of a collaborative practice covering all marketing communications capabilities.

An all-rounder that can work with teammates across functions at the agency; evaluating, creating and delivering leading brand activation programs, brand storytelling, projects and campaigns.

You will also be able to identify new opportunities and build this specialism - playing a proactive role in terms of proposal development and unlocking opportunities across the agency's global client portfolio. The candidate will be able to need to provide strategic counsel on sponsorships and partnerships - as well being prepared to deliver marketing activity both independently and as part of a team. This all-rounder will also need to be prepared to work on broader sports communications and PR projects.

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Passionate about sport and entertainment with strong experience in the industry knowledge of the Middle East market
  • Broad marketing and partnerships expertise in working either exclusively with one client or multi-tasking across various accounts and work streams
  • Story-telling marketing all-rounder with creativity and vision to deliver impactful work and develop campaigns
  • Develop and manage the budget for sponsorship and activation initiatives
  • Build reports to showcase ROI to senior management and stakeholders
  • Work seamlessly and collaboratively with integrated teams, displaying a proven ability in running projects but being a strong support to account leads
  • Hungry to grow business, build relationships and unlock opportunities in a fast-paced market
  • Have exceptional creative and proposal writing skills
  • Display strong technical proficiency across full-service marketing paid, earned, shared and owned channels
  • Be prepared to manage traditional communication campaigns and project work when needed
  • Act as Burson partnerships and brand marketing authority, improving relationships, service and scope for colleagues and clients providing best practice advice, training and knowledge sharing
  • Solid sponsorship consultancy in terms of evaluating properties and prospecting opportunities for clients when needed
  • Offering best practice advice, training and knowledge sharing to all stakeholders
  • The role requires mobility and flexibility to travel
  • 7++ years relevant industry experience agency experience is favored
  • Bi-lingual (Arabic + English) is an asset
