WSP are seeking a talented Bridge Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bridge structural design and possess proficient knowledge of MIDAS software. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile bridge projects that play a crucial role in the region's development.
Your new role, what's involved
Conduct detailed structural analysis and design of bridges using industry-standard software, with a focus on efficiency and safety.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate bridge designs into broader infrastructure projects.
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports that adhere to regulatory standards and client requirements.
Perform site visits and inspections to assess construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Provide expert advice and support during the tendering process, including reviewing bids and proposals.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in bridge engineering to continuously improve design methodologies.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Masters degree preferred.
Minimum 4 years experience in bridge structural design, including conceptual and detailed design phases.
Prior experience working on bridge projects in Saudi Arabia.
Proficiency in MIDAS software for bridge analysis and design.
Strong understanding of international design codes and standards relevant to bridge engineering (e.g., AASHTO, Eurocodes).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Fluency in English and Arabic.
Saudi national.
