We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a background in Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Analytics projects. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in BI, excellent analytical skills, and exposure to Agile methodologies. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to define business requirements, develop business requirement document, user stories, and liaison with technical team to support the successful delivery of business intelligence and data analytics solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements / user stories.
- Conduct requirement elicitation & analysis; contribute to the development of conceptual and logical data models, dashboard, report and metadata design.
- User story / use case creation Working from the features and needs defined by the project vision, identifies user stories, task, and use cases that describe the scope of the project
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirement documents, requirement matrix, user stories, and data flows.
- Support Agile delivery teams by refining and prioritizing product backlogs, and participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with data architects & engineers to ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Provide training and support to end-users of BI solutions. Participate in test plan & execution. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, information technology or a related field.
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) is a strong plus.
- Exposure to BI tools (e.g., Power BI), data governance & data visualization best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must have skills:
- Minimum 3 years experience working on any data analytics, business intelligence, data governance, data quality or data warehousing project as business analyst.
- Previous experience developing business requirement/specification documents, user stories.
- Experience in developing KPI, report and dashboard, data products specification document.
- Knowledge of SQL and other database query languages.
