GRG is partnering with a leading HVAC distribution company in Dubai to find a highly skilled Business Analyst. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in business analysis, particularly within the HVAC or related sectors. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams within the client organization to analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and leverage data-driven insights to support decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Documentation
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to collect and document business requirements, translating them into detailed functional specifications.
- Analyze existing business processes and workflows, pinpointing gaps and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS).
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze business data to uncover trends, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to HVAC distribution.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for management and operational teams.
- Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present findings and recommendations effectively.
Process Improvement
- Conduct process mapping and business process re-engineering to boost operational efficiency.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities for automation, standardization, and process optimization using methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
- Work alongside client IT and operations teams to implement recommended process enhancements.
Project Management
- Lead and manage process improvement projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Coordinate with various client departments, including IT, operations, and sales, to align on business analysis and process improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to secure consensus on new projects.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the HVAC sector.
- Provide insights and strategic recommendations to support client business planning and growth.
Stakeholder Communication
- Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams within the client organization to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements.
- Present analysis, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders at all levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within the HVAC distribution or related industry.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and distribution processes.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with business process modeling techniques and tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional client teams.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is an advantage.
