We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with substantial experience in the insurance industry and a proven track record of working with the INSIS application. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and ensuring seamless integration of INSIS within our organizational framework. This role demands a deep understanding of insurance processes and the ability to bridge technical capabilities with business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, requirements, and challenges within the insurance domain.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to translate business needs into technical specifications and vice versa.
- Analyze business processes, workflows, and system functionalities pertaining to INSIS and prepare comprehensive documentation including business requirements, user stories, use cases, and process flows
- Configure, test, and implement INSIS solutions to meet business requirements while adhering to industry best practices.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), providing guidance and support to end-users during implementation phases.
- Provide training and support to users on INSIS functionalities and updates.
- Proactively identify and propose enhancements or solutions to optimize system performance and usability.
- Collaborate with IT teams for system enhancements, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for INSIS-related queries, offering guidance and support to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project milestones
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements relevant to the insurance sector.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 year experience working as a Business Analyst in the insurance domain.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the INSIS application is mandatory.
- Expertise in medical and Life LOB is required
- Proficient in analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
- Strong understanding of insurance processes, products, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently, prioritizing effectively.
- Analytical mind set with problem-solving skills to address complex business challenges.
- Relevant certifications in business analysis or insurance domains are a plus.
