Accountabilities and Key Roles:
- Implement Business Continuity and Resilience Management related projects in the areas and monitor progress.
- Participate with the areas in the implementation of Business Continuity and Resilience Management policies, procedures, guidelines and standards.
- Assist the areas in conducting Business Impact Analysis, plans development and maintenance, and plans testing, and making recommendation for improvement as needed.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Business Continuity and Resilience Management awareness program and provide required training on the Business Continuity methodology.
- Provide specialized training in coordination with the Country Risk Representative to the concerned staff in the areas on using the Business Continuity software tools to enable them develop and maintain their plans.
- Coordinate with the areas to ensure that their business continuity plans, crisis management plans, incident response plans, evacuation plans, and disaster recovery plans are regularly updated and tested.
- Participate in the Business Continuity ISO 22301 re-certification process and surveillance audit cycle.
- Follow-up with the concerned department at the Head Office and the areas regarding the development/readiness of the Disaster Recovery and the Business Continuity sites and ensure compliance with the Business Continuity Management and Resilience Management requirements.
- Support the administration and training of the BCM System.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Finance or any related field from a recognized university.
- Recognized relevant professional certification preferred.
Experience:
- 4 years of banking experience in a leading regional or international Bank of which 2 years in Business Continuity Management is preferable.
Competencies:
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Good experience of BCM international standards.
- Capability of understanding of banking operations.
- Understanding of business continuity and Resilience concepts including risk management, crisis management, disaster recovery, business impact analysis, business continuity lifecycle.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong administrative skills, with effectiveness in developing tasks and managing resources to achieve target dates.
- Knowledge and practicing the Business Continuity software tools.
