Role Overview: As the Business Development & Commercial Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and managing contracts to ensure the successful execution of our commercial initiatives. This role is crucial in supporting our mission to provide exceptional transport services across Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships that align with the company's strategic goals.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to increase market share and drive revenue growth.
Contract Management:
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that protect the company's interests.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all contracts meet regulatory and corporate standards.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, from initial negotiation through execution and renewal, including monitoring compliance and performance metrics.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, clients, and government entities.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting business development initiatives and contract performance.
- Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment on business objectives and contract requirements.
Financial Analysis:
- Analyze financial implications of contracts and business opportunities, providing insights to support decision-making.
- Monitor contract budgets, revenue forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement within the business development and contract management functions.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends, applying innovative strategies to enhance the company's competitive position.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Certificate in Leadership from any recognized institute would be a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in business development, contract management, or a related role, preferably within the transportation or service industry.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing complex contracts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
