Position Objective
To drive business growth by managing the BD pipeline, fostering client relationships, and enhancing market presence through CRM, reporting, and pre-qualification processes. This role involves strategic proposal support, market analysis, branding efforts, and proactive client development.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Pipeline opportunities in CRM
- Manage and Implement BD Reporting Process
- Manage and Implement Registration and Pre-Qualification Process
- Develop a network of contacts and new relationships and nurture these to be clients.
- Create long-lasting rapports and also build on the reliant existing clients for the company.
- Supporting the formulation of new proposals, assisting the pitching and winning of new work
- Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients.
- Marketing, Branding and Comms activities.
- Market analysis regarding competitive offerings, prospects and new service offerings.
- Supporting the senior management in Client facing Business Development meetings.
- Self-starter and not afraid of building up a relatively cold desk.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- knowledge in Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop are essential for this role.
- Good commercial Understanding.
- Excellent negotiation skills including and understanding of the various contract types.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with Proficiency in Arabic is required
- Ability to successfully manage time on numerous projects with differing and competing deadlines
- proven ability to seek and develop relationships; high-level of understanding of all business offerings; self-motivated; creative and forward-thinking mindset.
Experience:
5 years experience in BD preferably in the architecture & engineering consultancy. Keen knowledge in architecture and the built environment is vital for this role with a sophisticated and practical understanding of architecture and design. Experience with CRM software is a plus.
Education:
A bachelor's degree in Architectural/Engineering or Business Administration, or any other related business field will also be acceptable.
