Our client is venturing into Saudi Arabia with their commodity trading business and are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to set up their operations of trading in basmati and non basmati rice and will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and driving the growth of the company.
Qualifications and Skills
- More than 10 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the commodity trading of Rice.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
- Knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
