The Business Development Manager (BDM) will play a key role in driving the growth of our interior design company. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, fostering strong client relationships, and working collaboratively with our design team to deliver exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify and research potential clients within the interior design sector.
Develop and execute strategic business development initiatives to generate new leads and proposals.
Qualify leads and convert them into paying clients through effective presentations and negotiations.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Understand client needs and develop customized interior design solutions.
Manage client expectations throughout the design process.
Ensure client satisfaction and generate positive referrals.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the design team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, designers, contractors, and vendors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development or a related sales role within the interior design industry.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong understanding of the interior design industry and its trends.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (a plus).
