Job Description

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be primarily focused on developing new project opportunities in the Middle East region through proactively developing relationships with key stakeholders in the markets. The role is pivotal to our growth in the region and is an integral part of the strategy to help Creative Technology further develop as the premier provider of Audio-Visual solutions in the growing market. Key responsibilities include:

  • Promote and stablish the CTME brand in region.
  • Identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and competitive landscape within the live events sector.
  • Develop targeted sales strategies and solutions as well as strategic partnerships and alliances, to drive growth and expansion within the industry.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with clients, key decision-makers, big industry players, government bodies, etc. ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
  • Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation, closing, and post-sales account management.
  • Present and demonstrate audio visual technology solutions to clients, showcasing the value proposition and benefits.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to client needs and requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements and close deals successfully.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline, forecasts, and reports using CRM software.
  • Analyse sales performance metrics, trends, and KPIs to track progress, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Represent CTME at meetings, presentations, and trade shows in the Middle East and beyond.
  • Work cross functionally with other departments to drive operational and commercial efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management within the Live Event AV industry.
  • High level of technical understanding of our AV solutions and industry terminology is required.
  • Experience working in the Middle East region with knowledge of the industry and clients.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets, generating revenue, and building strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English, written & spoken.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexible to work based on the requirements of the live event industry.
  • Willing to work outside of the KSA on projects in the GCC and beyond.
