Position of : Business Development Manager
Location : Riyadh, KSA
Job Purpose :
will be responsible for winning new business by penetrating new clients & additional locations (accounts) and reactivating former/ dormant clients & accounts. This role will be expected to set demanding personal goals, work as hard as necessary to get things done, take challenges head on, and remain resilient in the face of difficulties. The ideal candidate enjoys selling, negotiating, and changing others point of view while remaining calm under pressure. This role will also be expected to establish and maintain relationships with prospects and customers and build rapport by tracking opportunities and contacts and following up with them.
Accountabilities :
- To maintain existing business relationships and secure new business growth through direct customer contacts and networking
- To actively pursue and achieve agreed growth and sales targets.
- To plan, implement and evaluate the overall business development and market growth strategies.
- To analyse present and new business opportunities and define priority market segments and industries.
- To identify, develop and launch new services that will strengthen the company's market position and competitiveness.
- To liaise with other management members on local and regional level to determine new services and modify existing services to meet customer needs.
- To formulate, develop and implement the overall business development policies and plans to realise the company's objectives.
- To prepare sales and marketing forecasts, budgets, and development programs
- To determine budgetary requirements and work within these to achieve the company's goals and objectives.
- To identify and study market potential for new and existing services short, mid, and long term.
- To proactively create and manager short- and long-term new business pipeline
- To define a strategy how to win key new industries and customers.
Educational background / Work experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Economics/Marketing
- +5 years of work experience in Sales Logistics, Business Development & Account Management
Computer Literacy :
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and others)
- Profound knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tools
- Good knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems especially as it relates to reporting and analysis
