Food People have partnered with a UAE regional player in Foodservice distribution in their search for a Business Development Manager based in UAE. This role will be responsible to manage, implement, develop and execute sales and business development strategies for the food service division in the UAE HORECA market within the strategic context, vision and goals of the organisation. Attitude & resilience is a must have for this role, as well as the ability to work in a standalone capacity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the development the sales annual plan and go to market approach for the Foodservice division and anticipate on future trends.
- Deploy the annual plan drive towards set goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with customers.
- Secure long-term, high volume commitments with Foodservice chain accounts, independents and hotels through strong relationships and excellent customer service levels.
- Advise on new products, based on market trends, which will lead to profitable growth.
- Ensure sales forecast is accurate to ensure optimum stock levels.
- Assist in setting and managing the annual Sales budget.
- Act as a role model in living the company purpose on daily basis.
KEY INGREDIENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- 5-8 years of sales or commercial experience within the FMCG or Foodservice Industry
- Results focus, particularly profit and business performance orientation.
- Must have worked within the UAE
