Job Description

Gallega Global Logistics is an integrated logistics service provider that draws on years of experience in creating seamless supply chains for Automotive, Industrial, FMCG, Healthcare and Retail businesses.

Gallega is part of Ghassan Aboud group, a conglomerate founded in 1994. We leverage our extensive expertise and strategic partnerships to offer a full spectrum of logistics services, including frieght forwarding, customs clearence, warehousing, distribution and transportation. Our global network enables us to facilitate smooth cargo movements across borders, ensuring timely delivery and optiomal cost effectiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and alliances.
  • Developing Sea/Air Freight Forwarding, Import Export, Land Transportation and Automotive Logistics.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve the company's sales goals and objectives.
  • Negotiate and close partnership agreements that drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align business development efforts with company objectives.
  • Generating repeat business and adding new potential customers in company portfolio
  • Achieving the sales turnover in line with the target set by the Management.
  • Identify potential customers and register opportunities leading to revenue for the company.
  • Support Customer Service and work closely with Operations and Documentation on the execution of customer contracts.
  • Provide personalized service and build relationships with customers, identify current and future customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their logistics and supply chain needs, providing tailored solutions.
  • Provide regular and accurate reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 - 4 years prior industry related business development experience in the UAE market
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Arabic knowledge would be an added advantage.
  • Must have experience in Freight forwarding or logistics Industrial sales.
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented.
