Job Description
- To develop and generate new business in Dry Van Cargo, Project Cargo and Reefer Cargo in the UAE.
- Preparing a sales budget; monitoring & coordinating total sales activities within then creating more revenues by the way of increasing volume from new clients and bringing back inactive clients by providing better service.
- Keep Accounts Receivable under control.
- Enabling strategic sales for all the verticals of the organisation, by leading a team of customer service & sales personnel.
- Trade Lane Development for selected trade lanes.
- Develop and maintain business relations with key customers/clients.
- Enhance sales process and increase profitability with maximum focus on compliance.
- Evaluate and understand risks well in advance and plan effectively to tackle them.
- Good experience in handling ODC/OOG cargoes on Flat Racks and Open Top Containers.
- Innovate various marketing strategies not only to generate revenue but also to position company in the market as the first choice.
- Continuous research and study of the various segments, business pattern and market competitions to tap new and hidden opportunities to be the leader in the market in rapidly changing business scenarios.
- Sound understanding about customs and documentation requirements, port facilities required, route survey, type of ship befitting the cargo and loading/ discharging and Securing
- Ensure complete coordination with operations/customer service/finance teams.
- Understand different techniques used in Pricing for various verticals of the business. Develop good rapport with ocean carriers, and truck (transport) companies.
- Responsible for collection and billing of the executed job.
