Job Description

Position Summary

As a Business Development Manager Jordan and GCC countries, the individual will be responsible to develop and maintain a strong portfolio of International Introducing Brokers (IBs), supporting the companys strategy to drive business growth and enhance its market presence. There is the possibility to work on site in Amman, Jordan, as well as fully remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engaging in market research and identifying potential business opportunities.
  • Developing and implementing business development strategies, taking into consideration meeting client needs.
  • Cultivating a sales-focused approach to foster the expansion and profitability of the IB business.
  • Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Acting as the first point of contact to Affiliates/IBs, by establishing regular communication with them for the provision of support, answering any queries they may have, and resolving any issues faced.
  • Providing technical and other support to VIP Affiliates/IBs, as and when required in an efficient manner.
  • Having responsibility for the coordination of a number of IB accounts.
  • Managing, monitoring, and updating the companys Affiliates/IB systems (e.g., with relevant information, marketing material, and deals).
  • Handling troubleshooting related to Affiliates/IB systems.
  • Escalating matters to management in a timely and effective manner, when required.
  • Preparing relevant regular and ad hoc reports, as agreed, and requested by management.
  • Cooperating with other departments of the group to solve technical and other issues.
  • Staying up to date with relevant industry trends and developments, including monitoring the competition, and suggesting improvements to management.
  • Complying with the companys internal policies and procedures.
  • Undertaking any other related tasks assigned by management.

Experience and Skills Required

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or other related field.
  • Proven track record of more than 5 years of experience in a relevant role in the forex industry.
  • Strong network of contacts within the forex industry, including brokers, institutional investors and potential clients.
  • Excellent knowledge of Arabic and English, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-motivated, with ability and willingness to work independently.
  • Driven and results oriented.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Willingness to travel.
