Job Description

Job Purpose

  • To support and enhance regional / cluster branch sales and service achievements by identifying new and existing business opportunities via various sales activities, customer events and market days
  • The BDM will report to the Branch Manager
  • The BDM will be responsible for :
  • End to End Sales ( self closure)
  • Referrals to branches (referral sales)
  • Listing New Companies / Upgrading Existing Companies on SFA
  • Activity management and penetra
  • Activity management and penetration on companies part of their portfolio (50 companies under management)

Key Result Areas

  • To ensure sales performance are exceeding asset targets for cluster branches as per KPIs set by Business.
  • To maximize business penetration from portfolio companies (combination of Mashreq Onsite and Non Mashreq Onsite)
  • BDMs to manage a portfolio of companies including Mashreq Onsite Companies (Each BDM is exclusively tagged to a Mashreq Onsite Company)
  • To identify catchment area business opportunities existing via SFA/branch portfolios
  • To work with business partners/channels, stakeholders across segments to identify business opportunities improve products and propositions and enhance pre and post sales experience for the customers
  • CRM Management
  • To create sales referrals via CRM Opportunities
  • Monitor conversions on referred opportunities by branch team
  • Learning and Development
  • Self accreditation on Gold and Business Banking segment products.
  • Service Mandate
  • Minimal Rejects (Less than 5%), 90% on Mystery Shopping Scores, Minimal Customer Complaints for companies being managed

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Retail banking sales management skills
  • UAE Demographic Knowledge
  • Networking skills to engage with and work with internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, CRM, and Bank Systems
  • Experience of conducting Local area marketing events at branches and market days at companies
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to delivery against stretched targets and timelines while undertaking multiple projects
  • Ability to travel within UAE
  • University Degree required with 3 to 5 years of sales experience.
