Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager with extensive experience in logistics and a deep understanding of the UAE market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategic partnerships, and enhancing our market presence within the logistics sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics sector.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Develop and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and sales pitches to potential clients.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships to expand business reach and capabilities.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, agreements, and partnerships to drive business growth.
Market Expansion:
- Lead initiatives to expand the company's market presence in the UAE.
- Develop strategies to enter new markets and sectors within the logistics industry.
Performance Monitoring:
- Set performance targets and monitor progress against goals.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, performance metrics, and market insights.
Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the business development team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
- 10 to 12 years of experience in business development, with a strong focus on sales logistics.
- Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving sales targets in the UAE market.
- Deep understanding of the logistics industry, including market trends, regulations, and key players in the UAE.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with multinational logistics companies.
Knowledge of UAE's logistics infrastructure and regulatory environment.
Ability to speak Arabic is a plus.
