Business Development Manager Dubai (Remittance & Financial Services)

TechNET-IT is proud to partner with a rapidly growing leader in the remittance and financial services industry. Our client is a B2B financial services provider revolutionising cross-border transactions by offering fast, transparent, and cost-effective solutions. With a global infrastructure supporting payments in over 75 currencies and an integrated payment acceptance platform, they are empowering businesses across industries such as sports, entertainment, logistics, and travel.

As they expand their operations in the Middle East, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Dubai and play a pivotal role in driving growth and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Growth

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Identify new market opportunities, staying informed about emerging trends and technologies in the remittance and financial services industry.

Partnership Development & Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with financial institutions, partners, agents, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead negotiations and finalize partnerships to expand the remittance network and enhance market presence.

Team Leadership

  • Mentor and lead a team of business development professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Provide strategic guidance to help the team achieve individual and collective objectives.

Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis and competitor benchmarking to uncover opportunities for growth.
  • Leverage customer feedback and market insights to craft actionable strategies and refine go-to-market plans.

Customer Acquisition & Retention

  • Drive customer acquisition efforts to expand the client base, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Oversee customer retention initiatives and guarantee exceptional service delivery to maximize loyalty and recurring business.

Financial Performance & Reporting

  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics for business development initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in business development within the financial services or remittance industry, with a proven record of achieving and exceeding business objectives.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Demonstrated success in establishing and managing strategic partnerships that drive business growth.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of remittance market dynamics, regulatory compliance, and industry trends.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Customer Focus: Strong track record of customer acquisition, retention, and relationship management.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to conduct market analysis, assess competitive landscapes, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM tools; familiarity with emerging technologies in the payments and remittance sectors.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working in a FinTech or start-up environment.
  • Expertise in payments or remittance markets.
  • Passion for innovation and emerging digital technologies.
