MinIO has been downloaded more than 1.7 billion times, and every day 1.9 million more downloads occur. As we grow, we are seeking a Business Development Representative to help us convert existing open-source usage to a commercial license, attract new customers, arrange for tradeshow meetings and generally move the market in the direction of MinIO.
This job reports into the CMO at MinIO and we will train the successful candidate(s) on developing outbound sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and leveraging technical tools for effective communication. You will be responsible for identifying potential conversion opportunities (with lots of help), navigating sales opportunities, and fostering long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the industry. While the position is remote, we are only considering applicants that living in or interested in working in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a target-driven environment and has a passion for problem solving. BDR career paths can go into sales or marketing as much of the work will depend on your research skills and writing ability.
The role will join an existing team and will have geographic focus and thus will work closely with the sales team in that geography on a day-to-day basis.
