Business Innovattion Senior Officer/Assistant Manager

Job Description

-Attend all demos and workshop for the nominated vendors and service providers when needed

-Participate in preparing BRDs that reflects qualitative business requirements

-Keep eye on market / competitors offerings, document and share latest market trends and create related logs

-Attend vendor's selection workshops

-Follow up on project action tracker, ensure timely submissions

-Escalate any delays/ challenges occur during project life cycle

-Monitor projects performance on- daily basis and do required follow-ups.

-Assist in the RFP finalization

-Attend vendor's selection workshops

-Ensure that the RFP process is running properly, solve challenges and obstacles if exist

-Participate in preparing CBE requirements by contacting / following up on internal stakeholders this includes requirements raised from other regulators such as EBC, etc.

-Participate in developing new innovative digital product/ channels roadmaps, ensure all required documents and approvals obtained

-Ensures that BRD's have the latest technological and innovative trends and new CRs/Projects is in line with market offering and not out dated

-Participate in MEP documents approval for all initiatives and projects across all Consumer banking department.

-Participate project closure ceremony if needed.

-Create project risk /issues log and conduct required follow up

-Follow up on control units/get all control unit approvals on all documents and project phases

-Collect / Extract data required to generate reports for top management.

-Follow up on business teams to provide testing evidence for each change as documented in the BRD's to ensure quality closure of CRs / Projects

-Participate in workshops related on process gap analysis and manage involved stakeholders and teams

-Working with the assigned PM to ensure that the prepared plan is meeting the business needs, and the determined go to market date is suitable for business

-Ensure that all risks and risk controls are identified and managed with Operation risk team

-Ensure alignment with all control units/get all control unit approvals on all documents and project phases

-Ensure alignment with Financial and non-Financial operation teams if needed

-Participate in testing phase to ensure that all business requirements were implemented properly by designing the business test cases and run the determined business test cases during the UAT phase

-Act as escalation focal point to eliminate delays/ challenges during project life cycle

-Work as Escalation focal point in case of delays and Do the escalations when required to ensure that all projects is managed properly including RFP's and vendor allocation

-Ensure that the RFP process is running properly and try to solve challenges and obstacles if exist

-Participate project closure ceremony if needed.

-Grant business team UAT sign off

-Participate in go live activities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • University/College Degree. (Computer science or relevant major)
  • 3-7 Years of experience in a relevant field
  • Preferred banking /or Fin-tech experience
  • Technical background is preferable
  • Agile method or PMP knowledge is preferable
