Business Intelligence Specialist - Qlik Sense

BI Specialist plays pivotal role in improving companys growth and providing data support to different business lines. BI Specialist will be part of analytics team and will be reporting directly to AVP, Head of Data Management and Business Intelligence.

As a Qlik Sense Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Qlik Sense applications and solutions that enable effective data analysis and visualization. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data models and visualizations using Qlik Sense.

Job Accountabilities:

Develop Qlik Sense applications and dashboards based on business requirements and design specifications.

Design and implement efficient data models that support large-scale data analysis and visualization.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Optimize Qlik Sense applications for performance and scalability.

Create and maintain technical documentation related to Qlik Sense applications, data models, and processes.

Provide training and support to end-users on Qlik Sense functionality and best practices.

Stay current with Qlik Sense capabilities, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve our analytics solutions.

Experience / Skills Required:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

5-8 years prior experience as a Qlik Sense developer or specialist, with expertise in designing and developing complex Qlik Sense applications and data models.

At least 3 years of experience in the field of data engineering with sound knowledge on SQL, Teradata, Oracle, MySQL

At least 2 years of experience in cloud-based solutions.

Knowledge on other language like R, Python, SAS would be added advantage.

Job-Specific Skills:

Proficiency in Qlik Sense scripting language (QlikView/Qlik Sense Expression Language) and advanced Qlik Sense functions.

Experience with Qlik Sense Server architecture, installation, and configuration.

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes.

Previous experience with commercial/financial data analytics

Ability to challenge and review with an analytical mindset

Expertise in writing queries, procedures and developing custom views on database
